Replace the regular Windows screensaver with a Christmas-themed one. Create a playlist of carols or other songs to play while the screensaver is activated.
In Christmas time, many people enjoy "dressing up" their computers for the season. This screensaver will help you to do that. It features a nice photograph of an angel (I would say that it's not an angel, but Baby Jesus instead) surrounded by a red frame full of stars, a ribbon and the "Merry Christmas" phrase. The screensaver includes a simple animation of snow falling, which creates the atmosphere of the season. It also features a nice background music set, made up by instrumental versions of famous Christmas carols like Silent Night, Gloria in Excelsis, and more. You can set up the program to play the built-in playlist or to create and play your own. Also, you can mute all sounds if you wish. Also, you can customize the way you want to exit the screensaver: by mouse movement, mouse click, keystroke, and so on.
Although the program is free, the installation wizard suggests you to install several tools like Babylon, StopZilla antispyware and the ScenicReflections toolbar. You can decline to do so and still have the program installed in your system. Also, when finishing the installation, the developer's homepage opens in your browser. Despite all these inconveniences, it is a good, simple screensaver.
